Wellington Magaya specializes in labour law and Administrative Law with experience in all aspects of employment law ranging from arbitrations, disciplinary hearings, human resources policy formulation and collective action negotiations and bargaining. He has a huge debt management and recovery portfolio for listed and non-listed companies and Private Voluntary Organisations. Wellington advises many major corporations in Zimbabwe and abroad in respect of the country’s employment law framework, dispute resolution, debt management and recovery and legal compliance. Wellington sits in the council of the Law Society of Zimbabwe where he serves under the Finance Committee and the Committee for Legal Education and is a Law Society Councillor. In 2013 Wellington was appointed by the Law Society of Zimbabwe as a member of a team mandated to draft the Legal Practitioners’ Code of Conduct.
